The roughly $17.5B of debt tied to Elon Musk's social network X and AI startup xAI is set to be paid back in full, according to people with knowledge of the matter, Bloomberg's Gowri Gurumurthy, Carmen Arroyo and Paula Seligson report. Morgan Stanley (MS), which handled both companies' debt raises, has been telling existing lenders on behalf of X and xAI that the companies will repay the outstanding debt, said the people. The planned repayment comes as Musk looks to consolidate his businesses and take them public, the authors note. SpaceX bought xAI last month, turning it into a subsidiary as the company looks to build data centers in space. The combined business is now worth $1.25 trillion.

Net pay-TV subscribers decreased approximately 168,000 in the fourth quarter, compared to a decrease of approximately 253,000 in the year-ago quarter. The company closed the quarter with 7M pay-TV subscribers, including 5.02M DISH TV subscribers and 1.98M Sling TV subscribers.
