The RMR Group announced executive leadership promotions, effective October 1, 2025: Matt Jordan is being promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Matt Brown is being promoted to Executive Vice President and will succeed Jordan as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, while continuing to oversee the accounting, finance and tax functions. Yael Duffy is being promoted to Executive Vice President and will continue overseeing asset management, leasing and property operations for the office, industrial and retail sectors.

The company said, "Our private capital initiatives continue to gain traction with a recent value-add retail acquisition near Chicago, IL for $21 million and two pending Sunbelt value-add residential acquisitions for $147 million. We ended the quarter with over $121 million of cash on hand and we continue to engage institutional investors across multiple private capital investment strategies. We expect recent improvements at several of our Managed REITs, combined with continued private capital deployment, will yield attractive returns for our shareholders."

Reports Q2 revenue $166.668M vs $217.947M last year. Adam Portnoy, President and Chief Executive Officer, said ""RMR's second quarter results were slightly below our expectations as a result of reduced capital spending, the impact of strategic asset sales and deleveraging activities at our Managed REITs. In light of these headwinds, we remained diligent in controlling expenses to mitigate the impact on margins. Net income per share this quarter was $0.21, with Adjusted Net Income per share of $0.28 and Distributable Earnings per share of $0.40."
