The Boards of Directors of First Financial has announced the promotion of David Bailey to CEO. The position was previously held by F. Scott Dueser, who will continue to serve as Executive Chairman of the Boards.

Reports Q4 net interest margin 3.81% vs. 3.67% last year. Tangible book value was $11.20 from $10.59 at previous quarter end. Common equity Tier 1 capital ratio was 19.99% vs. 19.10% in the previous quarter. "We are pleased to report a strong finish to 2025, highlighted by record quarterly net income. "This quarter was impacted by a $21.55 million credit loss believed to be due to fraudulent activity associated with a commercial borrower. We have reviewed our portfolio to look for systemic issues and believe this to be isolated. We have initiated legal action and are continuing to work with law enforcement. Despite this setback, our core earnings trends remain positive, with year-to-date earnings growth of nearly 12 percent compared to 2024." said F.
