Canaccord upgraded Electro Optic Systems to Buy from Speculative Buy with an unchanged price target of A$10. The company signed a binding conditional agreement to deliver a 100kW high energy laser weapon to a customer in the Republic of Korea, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm sees the news as a "step-change in momentum" for Electro's new HELW vertical.
