Los Angeles Court Rules Owners Can Pursue Claims Against Water and Power Department
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Samantha Jessner ruled that a California law allows property and business owners to pursue claims that the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power failed to supply enough water to fight the Pacific Palisades fires, Jef Feeley and Maxwell Adler of Bloomberg report. Shares of Edison International moved lower following the ruling. The stock remains up 2% to $71.71 in afternoon trading.
