AbCellera announced that the first patients have been dosed in the Phase 2 portion of its ongoing Phase 1/2 clinical trial for ABCL635, a potential treatment for vasomotor symptoms associated with menopause. The Phase 2 portion is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study designed to evaluate efficacy in 80 postmenopausal women. AbCellera anticipates top-line clinical results for both phases in Q3 2026.

Viking Therapeutics (VKTX) announced the appointment of Neil Aubuchon as chief commercial officer. Aubuchon brings more than two decades of biopharmaceutical industry experience spanning leadership roles across global commercial and marketing functions including focus within the cardiometabolic space. Prior to joining Viking, Aubuchon was the chief commercial officer at AbCellera (ABCL).

AbCellera (ABCL) announced that it has entered into a settlement and patent license agreement with Bruker Corporation (BRKR), resolving the patent litigation between the two companies globally. As part of the settlement, Bruker will pay AbCellera $36M up front as well as future royalty payments on sales of Bruker's Beacon Optofluidic platform products worldwide through the life of the licensed patents.
