UFP Technologies, Inc. is a designer and custom manufacturer of solutions for medical devices, sterile packaging, and other engineered custom products. The Company’s single-use and single-patient devices and components are used in a range of medical devices and packaging for minimally invasive surgery, infection prevention, wound care, wearables, orthopedic soft goods, and orthopedic implants. Its manufacturing operations consist primarily of cutting, routing, compression and injection molding, vacuum-forming, micro-molding, thermoforming, laminating, radio frequency and impulse welding, and assembling. It also engineers components for automotive use in interior trim and structural applications. These components are produced using a compression molding process to create functional composites consisting of various materials such as polypropylene/fiberglass panels, nonwovens, and fabrics.
