Assetrix Introduces Platform to Enhance Trust and Liquidity in Real Estate Investment

Bedrock DAO is a governance framework for managing decisions within the Bedrock ecosystem. It enables BR token holders to participate in governance by converting BR into veBR, a voting escrow token. Governance decisions include protocol parameters, incentive structures, and liquidity allocation. Governance Model The governance system is based on veBR, which is obtained by locking BR tokens at a 1:1 ratio. The longer the lock duration, the greater the voting power. veBR holders vote on governance proposals, including gauge allocations that determine incentive distribution across liquidity pools. A seasonal reset mechanism ensures periodic redistribution of voting power. At the end of each season, all voting power resets to a base level, allowing new participants to engage without long-term holders accumulating disproportionate influence. DAO Transition Initially, the Bedrock team will configure the DAO and hold administrative control of the contract. Governance control will transition to veBR holders over time, allowing the DAO to independently manage protocol upgrades, incentive structures, and other governance functions.
